This role is remote and can be based out of anywhere in the US. This person will be supporting our software team in our Tewksbury, MA office:

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Develop Xojo cross platform Applications (Mac and Win) for the Color Industry

  • Develop specifications, Estimate project cost and time, release and support applications

  • Daily interactions with project managers, testers, developers, hardware and firmware engineers.

  • Some interaction with customers on a technical level.

  • Work in an international environment

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong proficiency in Xojo - Solid foundation in Object Oriented Programming and Development (i.e polymorphism, inheritance, …)

  • Advanced software engineering concepts. (Threading, Multiprocessing, Advanced Data Structures) - Participate in deploying software development best practices to the team.

  • Participate in code review

  • Experienced with software/task estimations, writing technical specifications and implementation.

Qualified applicants should possess

  • A BS/MS in Computer Science and/or 5+ years related experience.

  • The understanding of the software product lifecycle: design, development, distribution and support. - Comfortable with the following tools and technologies: C/C++, XML, InnoSetup, SVN, GIT, Jira, XCode. - Solid understanding of Agile methodology such as Scrum. Certified Scrum Master is a plus. - Familiarity with Unit testing, continuous integration and automated testing.

  • Capable to work alone or in a team - Great learning capabilities and problem solving skills - Fast learner with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology - Good communication skills

  • Experience with color, graphic arts or packaging technologies are a plus (such as color conversion, ICC profiles, image manipulation, or good understanding of color processes)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
