The Global Strategic Account Manager position is a unique opportunity to maintain high level global account management relationships with particular emphasis on incremental new equipment placement into new and existing factories creating increased site penetration effectiveness. Secondary responsibility is to effectively deploy global account strategies globally through the regional GSA team and regional sales organisation through active communication to both direct and indirect channel associates.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Work with Strategic Global Accounts to identify current and future business opportunities by producing strategic plans optimizing the specific GSA strategic success factors

  • Maximize sales by driving communication and identifying compelling customer value propositions at all designated Strategic Account locations

  • Provide local leadership, direction and ensure compliance of all selling activities in designated accounts in a matrixed global organization

  • Engage Country sales organisations to ensure our field-organization is highly engaged and works complementary to GSA Manager’s efforts and handles the execution at each local customer site

  • Ensure understand and progress of each GSA project by regular funnel reviews using our CRM Salesforce

  • Use successes at individual sites to win business at all sites of the designated Strategic Accounts

  • Communicate Videojet value proposition to HQ managers to influence them to standardize on Videojet as their preferred supplier

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per month

  • A proven track record in Sales Management with Multinational Corporation

  • Successful management in a complex “matrixed” organization

  • Work in an agile manner both internally and externally

  • Ability to prioritise and to work on both long term and short term projects

  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills at all levels
