Veralto Senior Accountant in Miamisburg, Ohio
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Partner in the month end close process by preparing and booking journal entries and adhering to the close schedule and completing reconciliations
Provide analysis, oversight and resolve any issues related to deferred revenue reconciliations
Drive monthly sales tax process; including preparation of returns, audit processes, provide insight for internal contacts and determine customer tax exemption eligibility
Leads annual inventory count with support and oversees accuracy of the inventory subledger.
Handle the activities of treasury management, such as: cash reconciliation, preparing wires/ACH, related templates, communicate daily funding request to Corporate Treasury
Ensure adherence to SOX controls to support audit requirements; including assisting in internal SOX testing and revenue cut-off testing

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role, preferably with a public company.
Experience within a manufacturing or software business preferred
Working knowledge of US GAAP with an emphasis on revenue-related areas
Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
