The Latin America Inside Sales Executive, supports McCrometer business operation in the region; performs customer service duties in accordance with department and company objectives. Answers phone calls, processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure satisfaction. Acts as liaison between customers and the company to facilitate sales and the resolution of account or service problems. Provides customers with information about products and services. Acting as a client consultant that assists potential customers identify their application needs and match them with the company’s offerings. These activities will allow the Inside Sales Executive to create, qualify and track sales opportunities. Internal collaboration efforts will include interaction with Marketing, Technical Support, and Traffic in order to ensure that each customer receives a product that meets the requirements of their application, the best possible support and purchase experience as measured by team and department KPIs. The goal of the Inside Sales Executive is to manage a funnel of opportunities by supporting each customer’s needs from initial assessment and product evaluation through to the point of sale.

The Inside Sales Executive will contact, qualify, and quote inbound leads generated from a variety of sources to determine interest level, client needs and potential product offerings that may suit those needs, and sales opportunity for new and existing customers. The Inside Sales Executive will also engage in outbound calling efforts to create additional leads for the funnel. Upon qualification, the Inside Sales Executive will need to build rapport and establish trust and credibility through a consultative selling style that demonstrates an understanding of each customer’s specific situation and our product’s options and customizations, as well as an ability to advise on appropriate solutions, thereby building a pipeline of sales for the organization. The role will follow a defined cadence for follow-up conversations as needed with the customer, with each interaction tracked through CRM tools to facilitate future transactions.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

• Provide support to Regional Sales to achieve region’s targets.

• Bridge the communication between customers and factory.

• Generate, qualify, and track sales opportunities assigned to channel partners or regional sales manager.

• Engage in detailed application review with potential customers, identifying the client’s specific needs, gaining an understanding of their current systems and product application, and potential modifications and customization of our product offerings, across the markets we serve.

• Have and understanding of the industries and customers we serve and related technical criteria: municipal water, industrial water, irrigation and O&G.

• Achieve daily KPIs (Cadence Completion/Meaningful Sales Interactions, Lead/Opportunity and Bookings Conversion Rates)

• Harvest incoming leads, drive initial contact, and coordinate as needed with internal and external partners.

• Generate additional leads through outbound calling programs using internal lists and marketing materials.

• Develop and provide timely and accurate quotes to customers to support the sales process.

• Demonstrate technical and application knowledge to provide prompt, accurate answers, customized solutions and successfully qualify leads and engage customers through to the point of sale.

• Track each customer interaction using salesforce.com, noting next steps and future follow-up dates.

Other Responsibilities and Functions

  • Assist in providing training to customers and channel partners.

  • Collaborate with other Marketing and Sales team members to continue to improve lead generation program and processes.

  • Relay pertinent product information from customers so the company can continue to improve its products and services.

  • Develop an understanding of competitive products.

  • Develop formal customer quotes and similar responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Language proficiency in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese.

  • BA/BS degree preferred and may be substituted for prior sales experience.

  • Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Products

  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com), database management systems, and common sales tools/methods is preferred.
