The Technician I (Production) is responsible for providing technical support for the SMT and Circuit Board Operations teams. The Technician identifies problems and implements corrective actions leading to continuous improvements. SMT and Circuit Board assembly support require knowledge of electronics and test systems, along with electrical and mechanical equipment knowledge. Focus for this position is on technical abilities.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; On-call rotation schedule for weekend coverage required. Overtime may be required.

In this role you will:

• Perform equipment maintenance, installation, and improvement tasks.

• Provide training and documentation as needed for end users.

• Perform or coordinate review and calibration of equipment.

• Perform troubleshooting of equipment problems.

• Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.

• Provide support and maintenance for process and mechanical production requirements.

• Coordinate and complete preventive maintenance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Prefer Associates Degree in related field. Appropriate related work experience and background may substitute for degree.

• 1-3 years related experience in an appropriate manufacturing, engineering, or facility environment depending on area of focus.

• Working knowledge of IPC standards for acceptability of production output

• Combination of office skills and hands-on activities required to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $23.00 - $25.76 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
